Engineering Support Technician (Site Services) – Double Day Shift

Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Barnstaple (Devon)
Salary: Circa £27k (including shift premium) + bonus + significant benefits
The Role:

We’re seeking a highly motivated and pro-active Engineering Support Technician to provide technical support within the engineering service department, responsible for maintaining all site service and facility equipment; e.g. HVAC, LEV, water systems, boilers and compressed air units. The day to day tasks will include carrying out planned maintenance in line with maintenance schedules  e.g. LEV emptying, AHU monitoring checks, boiler checks, Legionella maintenance operations and Portable Appliance Testing.  You will also carry out unplanned repairs and maintenance tasks including lighting repairs, HVAC filter changing, plumbing repairs and general repairs to the facilities and building.

Formulation & Development Scientist

Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Barnstaple (Devon)
Salary: £35k - £45k + bonus + significant benefits
The Role:

We’re seeking a methodical yet creative Formulation & Development Scientist to join our Pharmaceutical Technology department and support the continued development of our existing generics portfolio, in accordance with industry and company regulations (e.g. SOPs, GxP and cGCLP) – Working closely with our parent company’s R&D team in India to ensure the regulatory requirements and project timelines are met. To transfer formulations and manufacturing processes into GMP manufacturing, operating small scale manufacturing equipment, e.g. tablet press. Oversee the manufacturing activities for registration batches to support regulatory submissions and write scientific reports and regulatory documents.

Validation Technician

Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Barnstaple (Devon)
Salary: £22k – £30k + bonus + significant benefits
The Role:

We’re seeking a meticulous and customer-focussed Validation Technician to provide a validation resource to support our on-going company growth and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and procedures. In this varied role, you’ll work as part of a team on validation activities across the lifecycle of our products which will be supported by tailored training and mentoring to facilitate your development. On a daily basis, this means you could be helping us bring new products to the site by proving their safe and consistent manufacturing (writing protocols, testing product, generating and handling output data and resolving any deviations) or supporting our process validation for incoming product transfers.

Category Buyer (Indirect)

The Role:

We’re seeking a logical and commercially minded Category Buyer to proactively and effectively manage the procurement expenditure across multiple In-direct categories for our 3 UK manufacturing sites. In this varied role, you’ll take ownership of your own supplier base and workload, liaising with stakeholders across all sites to understand their requirements in order to maximise savings and efficiencies wherever possible. Conducting thorough market analysis of your categories and spend profiles, you’ll assess any areas of risk or opportunity across the supply chain and use this information to define your purchasing strategies in-line with business objectives.

Head of Packing

Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Fawdon (Tyne & Wear)
Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits
The Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Packing to establish our new ‘late stage customisation’ operations, whilst integrating with our existing bulk packing activities on site – all in accordance with industry GxP and EHS regulations and company requirements. Taking ownership of our Packing delivery plan, you’ll feed in to our S&OP activities and work closely with our Planning team to establish effective work schedules, allowing you to coordinate appropriate labour and materials across all lines to ensure products are delivered on time, in full and to the required standards.
