Medicina de urgență constituie primul pas în tratamentul pacienților cu afecțiuni care pun viața în pericol imediat și pentru care există potențialul de a se recupera. Medicina de Urgența

Există diferite situații în urma cărora un pacient poate necesita îngrijire de urgență.

  • Intervenții chirurgicale majore – acestea pot însemna fie o parte planificată a însănătoșirii și recuperării, fie o măsură de urgență, dacă apar complicații
  • Accidente grave – cum ar fi un accident rutier, un traumatism cranian grav sau arsuri grave
 De ce medicina de urgență (UPU și ATI)?

Pacienții cu afecțiuni care le pun viata în pericol imediat au nevoie de îngrijiri spitalicești specializate pentru a se putea recupera. Medicina de urgență presupune un aport intensiv de resurse pentru a oferi îngrijire continuă de înaltă calitate în situații în care timpul în care se intervine contează pentru pacienții care au nevoie de asistență imediată.

Acesti pacienți necesită o evaluare și o gestionare imediată de către echipe multidisciplinare.

Portofoliul pe care Accord îl dezvoltă pentru medicina de urgență include o serie de medicamente care sunt destinate a fi folosite în situatii critice, inclusiv complicații cardiace, supradoză de opiacee, ameliorarea durerii severe, proceduri chirurgicale și reacții alergice care pot pune viața în pericol.
